Located in the West End neighbourhood of Cowan Heights, this facility is conveniently situated directly on the grounds of St. Matthew's Elementary and is adjacent to neighbouring Cowan Heights Elementary. Twenty years of child care experience has been incorporated into this modern facility's layout and design. This centre offers programs from Toddler to School Age, each with its own unique layout. Kindercare children attending St. Matthew's or Cowan Height's Elementary need not worry about transportation to the facility, as childcare staff will greet the children at their classrooms and escort them to the centre – only a short walk across the parking lot.

School-age children exiting LPW at Cowan and between the ages of age 84 -144 months are given first priority at our feeder After School program located in Cowan Heights United Church on Frecker Drive.

Best thing I’ve ever done is start my child here!
She was in a day home prior to little Peoples and she has bloomed in her learning since starting there.
She even ask to go on weekends .
When a parent can go to work with not having to worry about their child, it makes for a very happy mommy & child

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Little People’s Workshop! The centre is very well run, warm and inviting, the activities are engaging, and the food is delicious (our son always eats 2 bowls of lunch!). Best of all, the teachers genuinely care for our son – his main classroom teacher goes above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and engaged. Whenever I enter the classroom to pick my son up, there’s always such a lovely atmosphere.

Little Peoples workshop is an amazing place for your child to play, learn and grow. Being a working mom it is hard to find a balance between work and family and leaving your child in someone’s care all day is a hard thing to do. I have had two children go through Little Peoples workshop and the care they provide is above and beyond what you could ever expect from a daycare. They provide more than a childcare service they provide peace of mind. And for a working mom that is invaluable.

Since 2007 my husband and I have had 3 of our children attend Little People’s Workshop. As parents we wish that we didn’t need the services of a daycare but the reality is that many of us do. This means that we are faced with the important and difficult decision of finding a facility that will provide the love and care that our children deserve and will give us parents peace of mind knowing that while we are away from them, they are being loved, they are safe and secure and they are learning to interact with other children which is so important.
